In a push –pull pair halves of input signal is distributed among two complimented NPN-PNP transistors and then recombined. The output swing is in the whole range of dual power supply (fig 5) Q1 drives positive half cycle and Q2 drives negative half cycle. Zero bias point cause null power dissipation at idling conditions.
